Christmas Eve Service

The Birth of Christ Readings and Carols. A great service to bring the whole family together and celebrate the birth of Christ, learn from the readings and sing the carols that celebrate his birth.
The season observed in many Christian churches as a time of expectant waiting and preparation for both the celebration of the Nativity of Jesus at Christmas and the return of Jesus at the Second Coming.
The season of Lent lasts 40 days to represent the amount of time Jesus spent in the desert, fasting and preparing for his ministry.
A time period upper room dinner occurs throughout the service with various courses being served during readings of the service. Perfect service for all ages explaining the history of the message. (The upper room also known as the Cenacle, is located in the southern part of the Old City of Jerusalem on Mount Zion, and is perhaps best known as the traditional site of the Last Supper since the fourth century AD.
This service has a diminishing light feature. After each reading a portion of the facility lights are turned off. By the final prayer the church is in total darkness. It remains that way until the Easter morn service that is set up as a sunrise service.
This service starts out in total darkness, carried over from Good Friday Service. At the start of the first major hymn, all the lights are turned on and the windows are un-darkened.
